PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS BLOG.
ALL the lotteries, draws, compensation schemes, inheritances, payment agent or mystery shopper jobs and business proposals offering huge sums of money are SCAMS. You CAN'T WIN a lottery or prize draw you HAVEN'T ENTERED.
Please don't post comments asking if the SCAMS you have received are real.
PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS IN A COMMENT ASKING SCAMMERS TO CONTACT YOU (yes, people really do this regularly!)
“Mr. Wayne Osmond Bhutelezi” tells me he is “expecting to hear from” me. Clearly he hasn’t read this blog. If he had, the only thing he would be “expecting” would be his own post on this blog …………… and here it is. His very own post, exposing him as a scammer.
“Mr Bhutelezi” doesn’t have any money to give you – what he wants is for you to give him money. If you make [Continue reading Expecting to Hear from you…]
This scammer writes from Germany to tell me he is called Lee Huang and works for a company in Taiwan. Does that sound likely? Of course it doesn’t. He (or she) includes the website of a legitimate business to try to make the scam sound believable.
This scammer doesn’t want you to work for him, he wants to steal money from you. To see how these fake payment representative jobs work, take a look [Continue reading We are looking for a Payment Representative]
A reader forwarded me this scam, with this comment “Another college kid trying to steal tuition money from good ol’ Missouri U.” Looks like she could be right – take a look at the email address it came from (and compare it with the email address you are asked to reply to!)
NONE of the lottery or draw emails you get telling you won money are real. There is no lottery anywhere in the [Continue reading ATTENTION TO THE OWNER OF THIS EMAIL ADDRESS]
“Mrs Wagner” tells me “Blessed is the hand that giveth”. As in – she wants me to give her money. Mrs Wagner is a scammer. She isn’t rich, widowed, a Born Again Christian or dying – that’s a standard scam. She wants to take money from you by charging you fees. Ignore her.

ENDEAVOUR TO USE IT FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD. I am the above [Continue reading Blessed is the hand that giveth]
A reader forwarded me this scam. As with all these loan offer emails this is a scammer. The scammer doesn’t want to lend you anything – what he wants to do is take money from you by charging you fees for your non-existent loan. If this was a real company (which it isn’t) they a) wouldn’t send out random emails b) they would write in proper English c) they would include their real address, [Continue reading Bolton Blair Loan Company]
A reader forwarded me this scam. There is only one way to win the UK National Lottery – buy a ticket and check to see if you have won. They don’t send the money to a random bank, they send it directly to you. This is a scammer who wants to take your money by charging you fees. Delete the email and don’t reply.
To see the REAL [Continue reading US$800,000.00 INTEREST PAYMENT:]
A reader forwarded me this bit of blah, blah, rhubarb, rhubarb – scam, scam – oh and just send us $125 please. If this was a genuine email from FedEx, it would be none of their business to know what is in your parcel. They charge by weight. The contents are none of their business.
This is just a standard advance fee fraud. There is no package – the scammer wants to take money [Continue reading CLAIM YOUR PACKAGE FOR Delivery]
Another offering from the world of hotel booking scams, forwarded to me by a friend who does bed and breakfast. Usual tell tale signs – they want to stay for an extended period, they tell you they will pay by credit card, they ask you to tell them the total cost of the stay – and – they have absolutely no idea who they are writing to. They never mention the name of your [Continue reading Booking Enquiry]
Oh look – it’s “Barrister Fraser” again. He’s changed from a yahoo email address to a live.co.uk email address. And he’s still trying to scam you out of your money. His deceased client’s name is getting more and more corrupted as this scam continues (it’s been around for a long time now). And I still don’t have a clue why I, or you, or anyone else would want to know about his membership of [Continue reading THIS IS MY THIRD AND FINAL MAIL TO YOU!!!]
A friend forwarded me this scam. If the UK Inland Revenue want to tell you about an overpayment, underpayment or any other issue with your tax they will write to you. You will receive a proper letter or form, on headed paper, including your full name and tax reference. They won’t email you.
If you click on the link in this email you will be taken to http://online.hmrc.gov.uk.nyyyyasz.net NOT the address of the real [Continue reading Notice of Underreported Income]
