Re:Immense benefit!!!

“Mr. Brian Roland” clearly hasn’t read his own email.  He starts by telling me that it isn’t “solicitation or spam” and then continues to write a blatantly spam and scam email.

This is a scammer – he (or she) isn’t a bank official in London.  I’ve a feeling he or she is an Eastern European scammer – just hoping to get his/her hands on your cash by charging you fees.  Ignore this email.

Mrs.Rose A says: TAGGED PROMOTION 2009 2010 ORGANIZED ...

A reader sent me a series of emails she has exchanged with a scammer.  I’ll let her tell the story in her own words:

a few days ago i received an email telling me i won 250.000 pounds and a toshiba laptop. i figured it was a scam and i sent them the required info just name and adress, email and cell #. to see how they would play their game, then i got an email [Continue reading Mrs.Rose A says: TAGGED PROMOTION 2009 2010 ORGANIZED …]

Job Offer Work From Home

This was forwarded to me by a reader.  I’m not sure that the writer of this bit of rubbish has any idea where the UK is.  They refer to the EU as “Entire Europe”.  Nice try sunshine.

There is no job.  Just a scammer wanting to take money from you.  To see how these fake job scams work, take a look at the Scam Victims page on this site. Just ignore this scammer and don’t reply.

FROM HENRY CARR

A reader forwarded me this scam.  This scammer starts by telling me that he is writing to me “because cool penny is better than millions of dollars”.  He goes on to tell me that it is better to be poor and honest than rich and dishonest.

What does he do next?  What do you think?  He pretends to offer to send me millions of dollars.  He’s a liar a  scammer and tells me he’s a Christian. [Continue reading FROM HENRY CARR]

Greetings:Your Kind Attention Needed

What a lot of rubbish!!! This scammer would have me (or you) believe that their scanning system can tell the value of a bank card – quote “to the tune of” $1.5.  This is just an advance fee scam.  The scammer asks you send them $139.

Don’t send this scammer anything.  Once you start sending money, you will find yourself being asked for more and more.  Just delete the email and don’t reply.

OVER DUE PAYMENTS RELEASE ORDER

I couldn’t be bothered to read all of this ridiculous letter.  It seems to be a tale of bribery, wickedness and threats.

I’m quite sure you aren’t expecting a payment of millions of dollars from Nigeria – neither am I.  Just ignore this ridiculous scammer.  If you make the mistake of replying you will find yourself being asked for money.  If this letter is anything to go by, you will also find yourself being threatened and [Continue reading OVER DUE PAYMENTS RELEASE ORDER]

Canada Lottery Promo

A reader from South Africa sent me this scam.

It was sent as an attachment – becoming more common, presumably in an attempt to avoid email spam filters.  As I said to my reader, this is one mixed up scammer.  It claims to be a Canadian lottery, uses the UK National Lottery logo and claims your prize is in US dollars.  I haven’t reproduced the logo – sorry, too lazy to save it and upload it!

I’m on holiday and I’ve lost my cash.. passport etc. help me..

This scam was sent to a fellow member of a forum that I belong to.  I’m not certain, but from comments left on the forum it looks as if the message is sent after a hacker has gained access to someone’s email account.  This gives their scam “credibility” as the recipient thinks they know the sender – not realising the message has been sent by a hacker.  So if you get an unexpected and uncharacteristic [Continue reading I’m on holiday and I’ve lost my cash.. passport etc. help me..]
