This scammer was too lazy even to hide the address of his scam website. Be careful of this scam – the deadline for submission of UK accounts to the Inland Revenue was 31 Jan. This scam comes all of 5 days later.
If this was genuine the Revenue would not address you as “Dear United Kingdom Resident”. They would know exactly who you are and address you by your name.
If you make the mistake of clicking on the link in the email you will be taken to the scammer’s website where you will be asked for your credit card details.
Delete this email and don’t click on the links. If you think you have accidentally given your credit card details to a scammer, contact your bank immediately.
