Oooh, lucky me.  I’ve won £500 grand from Microsoft in a random draw.  Sound likely?  No, you’re right, probably not.  And it’s only 500 grand.  I expect at least a few million these days.  Not that I’m high maintenance you understand, or greedy.

It’s balderdash and piffle (bet you’ve not heard that one before) – just delete the email.  If you reply with the information asked for you’ll find yourself the subject of identity theft.
