A sneaky little one this.  It’s a fake Paypal email.  Look at the address of the website it takes you to “http://login.mrm.mg/checkingSafety/cgi-bin/webscr.php?cmd=_login-run”.  Not the Paypal website – but a copy, where you are asked for your email and password.  

As with bank emails, NEVER click on a link in a Paypal email.  Always enter the address of the Paypal website directly into your browser.

Paypal scams are becoming increasingly common.  NEVER click on a link in a Paypal email, even if you think it has come from them.  ALWAYS enter the address of the Paypal website directly into your browser.  Log into your account.  If you believe there is a problem with your account, contact Paypal directly through the website after logging into your account.

This was forwarded to me by a friend.  She nearly fell for the scam as she was in discussion with Paypal about a transaction at the time. 

If you receive any emails from Paypal ALWAYS check the links, even if you are expecting a Paypal email. For safety, NEVER click on any link in an email that appears to come from Paypal.  ALWAYS enter the address of Paypal directly into your browser.
